Charging machines for melting- and heat treatment plants are further Inotherm products. In melting plants the
melting material will normally be forwarded to the charging box of the charging machine by forklift or
overhead crane. In case the charging machines are mobile the charging box will be filled directly at the
loading location. In melting plants usually charging machines will be used in order to charge melting furnaces.
The melting material will be forwarded to the charging box of the charging machine by forklift or overhead crane.
After that it drives in front of the furnace. The furnace door will be opened and afterwards the
hydraulically operated push blade moves the charging material out of the box into the furnace. By this means a
quick and efficient charging is assured.
In heat treatment plants we use e.g. scissor lift tables or lifting bar charging machines for loading annealing
furnaces – with coils or billets. Loading will be done by overhead crane or forklift. The charging machine will
be moved into the annealing furnace manually or automatically controlled and the charge will be set down into
the furnace. After that the charging machine drives out of the furnace, the furnace door closes and the
heat treatment programme starts.
In case of several furnace plants which have to be loaded by only one charging machine we use a crosswise movable
wagon in order to place the charging machine in front of the appropriate furnace for loading. |
